Where in the world did you get the name Ajax from?
A combo of mine & my furkid’s name {Amy & Jaxon}. I wanted something quirky & fun. More importantly, I wanted a name that had a little meaning behind it. Because documenting the bond between pups & their people is an important aspect of my work, Ajax just clicked for me!

Do you photograph only dogs?
Absolutely not! You’ve got a special critter in mind? I’m game for anything {…errr, within reason. I draw the lines at snakes}.

Can my family/children be in the photos too?
The answer is a resounding YES! My background is wedding & portrait photography, 10 years in fact. So it’s safe to say that I’m well versed in family dynamics! The session will be tailored slightly as to add in the humans, however, we’ll still need to plan on some one on one time with you & your pup.

My dog needs to stay on leash, is that OK for the session?
Absolutely! Safety is top priority during a session. I bring a long black lead that we can use in case your pup is lacking in the recall department. These can be photoshopped out of any final image that will be printed. All proofs will have the leash in the image.

What time of day is best for our session?
A few hours before sunset is the best time of day for a session. The light that time of day is the most pleasing. In the spring & summer, I can start sessions as late as 6pm!

What if the weather is inclement the day of our session?
We live in New England, so weather can sometimes be a challenge. When you initially book your session, we will schedule two dates, one being a raindate. If the day of your session comes & the weather is looking ominous a couple of hours before the session, I will contact you to move our session to the raindate.

Do you sell or include any digital files with your packages?
With every image that your order {print, canvas, or within an album} you will receive a complimentary low resolution water marked digital file of that particular image. Perfect for sharing on Facebook, Pinterest & other forms of social media! I do not sell any high resolution files with my packages.
